The conservation team from Historic Scotland came to the Fossil Grove on Thursday. They sampled the paint and metal from the roof to see if its contributing to the magnesium salt deposition which is breaking up the fossils under the condensation drips. They also downloaded videos from the time lapse cameras and repositioned the new spotlights
